A law graduate of the university of London, United Kingdom, he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1976 and has been in the active practice of law ever since. With special focus on Banking and Finance, he has honed his skills in the courtroom and also in the boardroom in several capacities, namely as Company Secretary of R.T. Briscoe, a multi-national company in Nigeria and as Deputy General Manager of the erstwhile Societe Generale Bank Limited.
